A morning with little Ava and her mommy…
This is sweet little Ava… and she is precious! She was so bright-eyed and happy to be outside for the session. She was happy to give me lots of smiles and curious looks…. and she LOVED the grass! 
Her mommy said she just recently started making this “wrinkled nose” smile! It’s was so funny!
I thought this was too cute, the way she was looking up in the and squinting with that wrinkled nose!
On each session I bring a bag of hats to offer for mom’s to choose from for baby to wear. I think mommy’s choice was perfect for Ava!
Such a happy girl!
She kept offering me pieces of grass…
Don’t ya just LOVE chubby little baby fingers?! And I’m pretty fond of her little Ralph Lauren cardigan sweater, too.
I was so happy that Mommy joined us for the session! These are precious times that will pass by so quickly… such precious memories.

Sammy and His Three Brothers… and itty-bitty baby sister!
Meet Sammy. He’s the “star of the show” … or at least the busiest one around his house most of the time! We had a wonderful time on our session, along with his 3 brothers and one baby sister. We took a walk together, walked around his yard, talked, laughed… and I even gave him a piggy-back ride back to his house when it started to rain.
He could have the most serious looks sometimes… then go right back to chattering away about something!
Then there’s his “wrinkled brow” look!! He was so funny!
I really had to convince him that it would be okay for us to go off the path and walk up this hill a little ways.
He’s really a thinker! He has a busy mind… and busy feet. 
This was so funny! I started talking to him about this fire hydrant… and I asked him what “kind” was it. He stood there in deep thought… and then proclaimed that it was a PIRATE one!
He was so cute here. He acted so “grown up” when I asked if he would like to stand up against the bricks.

The kitchen area in their house has some great natural light! So I got on the floor with him and captured this precious smile!

This was really cute! The boys just laughed and laughed as they were all climging on big brother’s shoulders.
Here’s precious little Nellie. She’s really grown a LOT since I was at her house about a month ago. She was not sleeping very well… but mom still tried to put her to seep so I could get a few good shots of her.
What a PRECIOUS FAMILY to spend the day with!
Summer time fun!
So… most grandparents like to show off photos of their grandchildren, right??! Well I think that is especially true for photographers! I had a wonderful time with my two grandchildren at the beach in CA. They live in AL, so being at the ocean was a special treat for them. And for me, well, I’m a TN girl now, but was raised in CA. So I always love to be at the ocean. Hope you enjoy them… can almost smell the salt air and hear the waves…
